Antiphon (mantra) repeat quietly:
With all my voice I cry to you; it is you to whom I turn.
With all my heart I cry to you.
With all my heart I plead.
As my spirit faints within me,
I pour out all my grief
and tell of my distress.
You, O God, know my path.
On the way where I shall walk
they have hidden a snare for me.
There is no one who befriends me.
I have no means of escape;
no one cares about me.
I cry to you, O God.
I have said, “You are my refuge,
my heritage in the land of the living.”
Listen, then, to my cry,
for I am in the depths of distress.
Rescue me from those who pursue me,
for they are stronger than I.
Lead me out of this prison
that I may praise your name.
Around me the just will assemble
because of your goodness to me.
Pray the Prayer of Jesus (Our Father)
