Daily Prayer March 23

Antiphon (mantra) repeat quietly:
At the dawning of the day let all sing praise to God.

Psalm 22 (Part II)
I can count every one of my bones.
They stare at me and gloat.
They divide my clothing among them
and cast lots for my robe.

O God, do not leave me alone;
my strength, make haste to help me!
Rescue me from the darkness.
Save my life from the jaws of these lions;
save me from the horns of these beasts.

I will proclaim your name to my friends
and praise you where they are assembled.
You who reverence God, give praise;
tribes of Israel, give glory to God.

The poor have not been despised nor scorned.
They have been heard.
God's glory has not been hidden from them.

I praise you, O God, in the great assembly.
My vows I fulfill before those who love you.

The poor shall eat and have their fill.
They shall praise you whom they seek.
May their hearts live forever and ever!

All the earth shall remember and return to you.
Families of all nations shall give praise,
for you guide them, O God.

I shall live for you
and declare your faithfulness,
saying to generations yet to come,
"See what God has done."

Pray the Prayer of Jesus (Our Father)
