Antiphon (mantra) repeat quietly:
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
Give thanks to God.
Let all that is within me sing praise.
Praise and bless God's holy name.
We remember all our blessings.
It is God who forgives all our guilt
and redeems our life from destruction.
The Holy One enfolds us in tenderness,
fills our life with richness,
renewing our youth like an eagle's.
God secures justice for all the oppressed.
Through the people of Israel,
these ways have been revealed.
God is tender and loving,
slow to anger and rich in mercy.
The anger of the Just One will come to an end.
God does not treat us according to our faults
nor repay us according to our sinfulness.
For as the heavens are high above the earth,
so strong is God's love for all who believe.
As far as the east is from the west,
so far does God remove our sin.
As parents are tender with their children,
so God is gentle with all who believe,
knowing of what we are made
and remembering that we are dust.
As for us, our days are like grass;
we blossom like the flowers of the field.
The breeze comes and we are gone,
never to be seen again.
But the love of God is everlasting
upon all who are reverent.
Justice reaches out to all generations,
to those who keep the covenant.
God touches all in the heavens and on the earth;
everything is full of sacred presence.
Give thanks to God,
you who fulfill the holy word.
Sing praise, all creation.
Give thanks to God!
