Benedictine Life A Vision Unfolding

Benedictine Life A Vision Unfolding

The Federation of St. Scholastica Centennial Colloquium presenter papers and responses, along with an introduction by Sister Joan Chittister, are now published in a 136-page book. Benedictine Life: A Vision Unfolding is about a vision—a vision that arose more than 1,500 years ago when St. Benedict penned his rule for monks. A 21st century way forward for this tradition will arise only when we immerse ourselves in its wisdom teaching and emulate the witness of those who have invested their lives in it over many centuries. Benedictine Life: A Vision Unfolding was also the title of the Centennial Colloquium of the Benedictine women’s Monastic Congregation of St. Scholastica (new name of the Federation) that took place June 21-24, 2022. Participants were Benedictine women and men, professed, oblates and seekers. Order now at Lulu.com, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
