Oblate Profile
I am retired USAF, working now at state level in Hbg, Pa. I've been drawn to religious life my whole life. Continually fascinated by all religious orders, monastic and apostolic ways. I serve with my musical talent in one of the local parishes, bringing what I learn from liturgical workshops and ways of life from contemplative, intentional communities, to the parish level, cultivating the New Monasticism.
Why are you an oblate?
Connected to a community open to the grace of God for a change of heart is something greater than ourselves. Witnessing how service can transform the world and ourselves is something to be part of. With this the world will change.
