A large group of family and friends joined the Benedictine Sisters of Erie and Oblates, Sisters of St. Joseph, Agrégées, and Associates, Sisters of Mercy and Associates for a Take Back the Site Vigil for Steve Smith at Metroplex in Erie, the site where he was murdered on December 30, 2022. After the 15 minute prayer vigil in the frigid temperature, several members of Steve's family remembered his goodness and generosity and spoke of the pain of loss they are suffering.
