Sister Katherine Horan named principal

The Benedictine Sisters join the Erie Catholic School System in being pleased to announce that Sister Katherine Horan is taking on a new leadership role at Blessed Sacrament Campus in Erie. She has 32 years of educational and administrative experience. Sister Katherine was an administrator for Migrant Head Start and Pre-K counts/Head Start programs at the St. Benedict Child Development Center in Erie Pa from 2020 - 2022. She previously taught for the City of Erie, the Diocese of Erie and Erie Catholic being at St. Jude School from 2016 to 2020 as both a teacher and an administrator. Most recently, she has been the assistant principal at Blessed Sacrament Campus.  

Sister Katherine is pleased to take this position at Blessed Sacrament and to continue providing a faith-filled education that promotes rigorous academics along with service to others. According to Mr. William Hall, previous principal of Blessed Sacrament, “Sister Katherine is an outstanding educational leader who is deeply committed to the Erie Catholic School System. She will be a tremendous principal for the Blessed Sacrament Campus and Parish communities.”
