Silent Peace Walk

Silent Peace Walk

Benedictines for Peace will host a Silent Peace Walk at Perry Square on Tuesday, December 16, at 7:00 pm. As wars rage in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and around the globe, the special focus of this walk is peace on earth. The practice of walking silently, slowly, mindfully, is an effort to grow peace in our own hearts and to connect with so many others suffering from war and also with the many yearning for peace. The poem with which we begin the Silent Peace Walks reminds us that peace in our hearts and communities is connected and spreads peace in our world. All are welcome to join this simple, nonviolent action for peace.
