Holy Week Retreat 2026

Holy Week Retreat 2026: We Are One April 1-5, 2026

“We Are One” Holy Week Retreat

April 1-5, 2026

We invite you to experience the silence, longing, and sacred rituals of Holy Week at Mount St. Benedict Monastery as part of the 2026 Holy Week Retreat, “We Are One.”

Beginning on Wednesday evening, April 1, you will journey and pray with the Benedictine Sisters of Erie and your fellow retreatants through to Easter Sunday dinner at noon, April 5. The retreat offers time and space for personal and communal prayer, reflection, and engagement with others. You will experience the liturgies of the Triduum including Tenebrae, Holy Thursday, Good Friday Peace Pilgrimage and the Veneration of the Cross, culminating in the resurrection joy of the Easter Vigil.  Silence will be maintained in the community from the end of Holy Thursday supper until the Easter Saturday vigil.
