Sister Joan Chittister’s book The Time Is Now is included in a new mural on Erie’s East Bayfront Parkway, atop a stack of several other books. It's on a wall of Gallagher Plumbing on E. 9th St. but it is facing the Bayfront Highway.

The muralist, BKFoxx, explained in a Instagram post: “This is a collection of personal objects on my shelf. It includes some of my own things, gifts from friends, and nods to Erie, PA. … Highlights include The Time Is Now by Joan Chittister, an Erie local, author of over 50 books, and the most gangster nun I’ve ever met….”

Here’s the best way to see it: Traveling south on the Bayfront Highway, it will be on the right between E. 8th St. and before the E. 10th St. exit.

The Time is Now is at the top of the mural, on the left side--see the red arrow on the picture.
